 What are the city hall office hours?

City Hall's Regular Business Hours Are

 What is the recycling pick up schedule?

Recycling Totes need to be curb side no later than 6 AM each Thursday morning.  If the tote is set out after 6 AM there is a good chance your recyclables will not be collected that week.

 At what point is a snow emergency declared?

Please remove all vehicles from the street when we are anticipating a snow or ice event. 

It saves time, assists our street crew in completing a more efficient snow removal job, prevents accidents and can save you the expense of having your vehicle towed.  

❄️Please follow these winter reminders: 

  • City code states no person shall park, abandon, or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley or City-owned off-street parking area. This will be in effect during a snow or ice accumulation event until the street is fully plowed or open for use. City Code 69.10.
  • Dumping of Snow Prohibited:  It is unlawful for any person to throw, push, or place any ice or snow from private property, sidewalks, or driveways onto city street or alley. City Code 135.12. 
  • Removal of Snow, Ice and Accumulations from Sidewalks: It is the responsibility of the abutting property owners to remove snow, ice and accumulations from sidewalks within 10 hours of accumulation.  City Code 136.03. 
  • SNOW EMERGENCY:  A snow emergency shall exist when weather conditions require the plowing and removal of snow or ice from public streets, alleys or City-owned off-street parking areas and shall not cease to exist until twenty-four hours have elapsed since the cessation of the accumulation of snow and ice. -City Code 69.10.1.C

 Who do I contact for Carson Community Center Information (rentals, inquiries)?

 Who do I contact to rent a park shelter?

The north park shelter that is located next to the play ground is a first come first serve use basis. 
The Rodeo Shelter (has attached restrooms and kitchen) can be rented by contact the Rodeo Committee at 712-402-630-3126.

 How do I obtain a Carson Fitness Center Membership?

If you wish to sign up for a fitness center membership please contact the Community Center Manager at 712-484-3636 or email carsoncc@futuretk.com to schedule an orientation time.
