New in 2019: Pottawattamie County Elections has launched an all-new, mobile friendly website to serve as a resource to voters!

The site offers a host of information and tools for both voters and candidates to quickly and easily find the election information they seek.  Voters can effortlessly access election results, gain information on how to vote, view sample ballots, search our elected officials directory, apply to be a poll worker, among many other features.

  How do I register to vote?

Voter registration cards are available in the Community Center Lobby next to the City Hall office.  Voter registration may also be obtained at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse, Auditor's office (see link), or via the State of Iowa's Secretary of State's website.

 

 

 Who should I contact with further questions?

Polling hours vary from election to election so be sure to contact the City Hall for current election poll hours. The Carson Community Center polling location is assessible to elderly and disabled voters.
